Semaglutide
Semaglutide is an anti-diabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and an anti-obesity medication used for long-term weight management. It is a peptide similar to the hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). It is administered by subcutaneous injection (under the skin). It is comparable to brand names Ozempic and Rybelsus for diabetes, and under the brand name Wegovy for weight management and weight loss.

Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide is administered via subcutaneous injections (under the skin). It is a gastric inhibitory polypeptide analog and GLP-1 receptor agonist.
Tirzepatide is indicated in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity to reduce excess body weight and maintain weight reduction long term in adults with obesity or overweight adults.
